• Sending blessings upon the Prophet: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ "O Allah, confer Your salah upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salah upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Most Praiseworthy and Majestic. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Most Praiseworthy and Majestic."
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ "O Allah, assist me in remembering You, thanking You, and worshipping You in the best way."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّك أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ "O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and none forgives sins but You. Thus, forgive me with a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Bestower of mercy."
O Allah forgive my past and future sins, as well as what I have concealed and what I have done openly. You are the One who advances some and holds others back, and no deity has the right to be worshipped but You.
• After Tashahhud and before Salam: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of hellfire, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah."
اللهمَّ إياكَ نعبُدُ، ولكَ نُصلِّي ونَسجُدُ، وإليكَ نَسْعَى ونَحْفِد، نرجو رحمتَكَ ونخشى عذابَكَ، إنَّ عذابَكَ بالكافرينَ مُلْحِقٌ، اللهمَّ إنَّا نستعينُكَ ونستغفرُكَ ونُثْنِي عليكَ الخيرَ ولا نَكْفُرُكَ ونُؤمنُ بكَ ونخضعُ لكَ ونَخلعُ من يَكْفُرُكَ "O Allah, You alone we worship, and to You we pray and prostrate. To You we strive and hasten. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment. Indeed, Your punishment will overtake the disbelievers. O Allah, we seek Your help, seek Your forgiveness, and praise You abundantly. We do not disbelieve in You, and we forsake and turn away from those who disbelieve in You."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ “O Allah, I earnestly seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment. I seek refuge with You from Yourself. I cannot praise You sufficiently. You are as You have praised Yourself.”
• In Witr: للَّهمَّ اهدِني فيمن هديت، وعافِني فيمن عافيتَ، وتولَّني فيمن تولَّيتَ، وبارِك لي فيما أعطيتَ، وقني شرَّ ما قضيتَ، إنَّكَ تقضي ولا يقضى عليْكَ، وإنَّهُ لا يذلُّ من واليتَ، ولا يعزُّ من عاديتَ، تبارَكتَ ربَّنا وتعاليتَ "O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, be an ally to me among those You have allied with, and bless me in what You have given. Protect me from the evil of what You have decreed, for You decree, and none can decree over You. He whom You show allegiance to is never humiliated, and he whom You oppose is never honoured. Blessed and Exalted are You."
• Between the two prostrations: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, strengthen me, guide me, and provide for me."
• In the prostration of recitation: سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِي بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَجْرًا، وَضَعْ عَنِّي بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَاجْعَلْهَا لِي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا، وتقبَّلها منِّي كما تقبَّلتَها من عبدِكَ داودَ "My face has prostrated to the One who created it, shaped it, and brought forth its hearing and sight by His might and power. O Allah, write for me a reward for it, remove a sin from me by it, store it for me with You, and accept it from me as You accepted it from Your worshipping servant Dawud."
• In Sujood: يا مقلب القلوب والأبصار ثبت قلبي على دينك "O Turner of hearts and eyes, make my heart steadfast upon Your religion."
• Upon rising from Ruku': رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ، أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ، أَحَقُّ مَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ: وَكُلُّنَا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ "Our Lord, all praise is due to You, filling the heavens and the earth, and filling whatever else You will. You are most deserving of praise and glory, most worthy of what a servant says. We are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the might of the mighty does not benefit against You."
سبحانَكَ اللَّهمَّ وبحمدِكَ وتبارَكَ اسمُكَ وتعالى جَدُّكَ ولا إلَهَ غيرَكَ "O Allah, You are perfect in every way, deserving of all praise. Your Name contains immense blessing, Your Majesty is exalted, and there is none worthy of worship besides You.
وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، إِنَّ صَلَاتِي، وَنُسُكِي، وَمَحْيَايَ، وَمَمَاتِي، لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي، وَاعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي جَمِيعًا، إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَاهْدِنِي لِأَحْسَنِ الأَخْلَاقِ، لَا يَهْدِي لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا، لَا يَصْرِفُ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ، لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَالْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ فِي يَدَيْكَ، وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ، أَنَا بِكَ، وَإِلَيْكَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ "I have turned my face towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, devotedly worshipping Him alone , and I am not among those who associate others with Allah. Verily, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of all creation Who has no partner. With this I have been commanded, and I am of the Muslims. O Allah, You are the Supreme King; no deity has the right to be worshipped except You. You are my Lord, and I am Your worshipping servant. I have wronged myself and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me all my sins, for no one forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to the best of them except You, and turn away from me evil manners, for none can turn them away from me except You. We obediently respond to Your call; all goodness is in Your Hands, and evil is not attributed to You. We exist by Your will and to You is our return. Blessed and Exalted are You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You."
• Opening supplication of prayer after the Takbeer: اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ، كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ، كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْمَاءِ وَالْبَرَدِ "O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the East from the West. O Allah, purify me of my sins as a white garment is purified of dirt. O Allah, wash my sins away with water, snow, and ice."
• Upon hearing the Adhan, one should say what the Mu’adhdhin says. When he says, حي على الصلاة حي على الفلاح "Come to prayer, come to success," respond with, لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله "There is no power nor might except by Allah." Then send salah upon the Prophet (may Allah's salah and salam be upon him) and say, اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هذِهِ الدَّعوةِ التَّامَّةِ، والصَّلاةِ الْقَائِمةِ، آت مُحَمَّداً الْوسِيلَةَ، والْفَضَيِلَة، وابْعثْهُ مقَاماً محْمُوداً الَّذي وعَدْتَه "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad al-Wasilah and al-Fadilah, and raise him to the praiseworthy station You have promised him." This hadith also includes that, "Whoever says this will have the intercession of the Prophet (may Allah's salah and salam be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection."
• After performing ablution, one should say, أَشْهدُ أَنْ لا إِله إِلاَّ اللَّه وحْدَه لا شَريكَ لهُ، وأَشْهدُ أَنَّ مُحمَّدًا عبْدُهُ وَرسُولُه، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعلْني من التَّوَّابِينَ واجْعلْني مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ "I testify that no deity has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without any partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His worshipping servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent often, and make me among those who purify themselves." This hadith, also includes that, "…the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, and he may enter through whichever one he wishes."
