O Allah, make him one who precedes us to Paradise, intercedes for us, and is a means of reward for us.

O Allah, protect him from the punishment of the grave. O Allah, make him a reward and an accepted intercessor for his parents. O Allah, make him a means for their scales of good deeds to be heavy, and a cause for their reward to be magnified. Allow him to join the righteous People of Iman, place him under the care of Ibrahim, protect him by Your mercy from the punishment of the hellfire, and grant him a home better than his home as well as a family better than his family in Paradise. O Allah, forgive our predecessors, our children who have gone ahead of us, and those who preceded us in accepting Iman.
