The Prophet (may Allah’s salah and salam be upon him) said, "If one of you is inevitably going to praise their companion, then let them say, ‘I consider so-and-so to be such and such — and Allah is their judge — and I do not praise anyone above Allah. I consider them — if they know that about the person — to be such and such.
